Our stay at Birds Nest was a great experience. The hostel is housed in a quirky Victorian building above a pub, which gives it a unique charm. The staff, especially Roger, made us feel at ease and gave us a thorough introduction to the premises. The wooden bunk beds with curtains provided a sense of privacy, and the lockers were convenient. The location is also a plus, with easy access to transportation and plenty of diverse dining options nearby. Meeting interesting people from different backgrounds made our stay even more enjoyable.

Nothing I didn't like, to be fair. 😊

We found a great budget option in the city, with a hostel located close to the tube station and the event we were attending. the downstairs pub was a lively spot to grab a drink, and the transport links made it easy to explore the city. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing assistance during check-in. the rooms had lock boxes at the end of the beds, ensuring our belongings were secure. We appreciated the curtains around the beds, giving us some privacy.

Some areas of the hostel were not well-maintained. the toilets and kitchen were unclean, with stagnant water and dirty equipment.

I stayed at the Bird's Nest for a few nights and it was a great experience. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation. The hostel was clean and the facilities, such as the toilets and showers, were well maintained. I particularly enjoyed staying in the girls' room, which provided a comfortable and private space with curtains, lockers, reading lights, and electric sockets in each bed area. The hostel had a unique atmosphere, with a lively bar and live music, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Would be happy to recommend this hostel.

I recently stayed at the Birds Nest and was pleasantly surprised by the great value for money. The beds were already made up and had curtains for privacy, along with personal lights and plug sockets. The locker at the bottom of the bed also had a free padlock provided. The showers were fantastic, and there was a TV room and kitchen available for guests to use. The location was excellent, within walking distance to Greenwich and with good public transport links to Central and East London. There was even a market in Deptford on Saturdays. Despite some disrepair and grubby areas, the friendly atmosphere and international music scene made up for it. I would recommend this hostel for its affordability and unique experience.

The staff at Birds Nest were incredibly friendly and helpful, even helping me with my heavy suitcase. the bed was comfortable and the bedding smelled lovely. the hostel had a welcoming atmosphere and the residents made me feel at home. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which allowed me to prepare my own meals. I loved the quirkiness of this unique hostel experience just outside the city. Cons: Couldn't fault 👍.

The price was really good, perfect for a budget traveler like me. The location was also great, with shops, markets, and public transportation nearby. I especially loved the privacy curtains around the bunk beds, along with the lockers and night lights. It made me feel secure and comfortable during my stay.

The staff, although friendly, seemed a bit unorganized and unreliable. There were also some issues with noise and inconsiderate guests, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
